Friday Felicitations

More progress!  Bergeron Construction will be in next week to begin the process of removing and replacing the cupola roof.  Our insulation consultants will also be in next week beginning the upgrade of the insulation around the attic perimeter.  The artful staging on the outside of the building is a welcome reminder that work has begun.  Meanwhile we are busy making lists (and checking them more than twice) of priorities, tasks that need to be done, budgets and  timelines.

Our staff artist Barb Diaz added a holiday (not to mention bookish) touch to the paper wreath that one of the crafty Slusser women made for us.  If you can't tell from this image, those are all book covers in the snow and on the tree.  Note to self, do not treat library books this way!
Meanwhile, if you are looking for a present for the bibliophile in your circle, you may want to consider "The Art of Reading:  An Illustrated History of Books in Paint."  It is a lovely and interesting item!
