tis the season

This weekend Leigh Maynard spent the morning at the Farmers Market at Town Hall providing one and all the opportunity to make a holiday craft, a traditional pomander ball.  Oh, does that bring back memories of my mother!  Leigh provided all the fixings and people of all ages took part.  What a lovely community event.

And on the building front, the scaffolding is up and next week the "ripping and framing" will begin.  Meanwhile planning proceeds fast and furious.

Thanks to the Goodine Family for naming the library as the recipient of memorial gifts to honor the passing of 104 year old Kathleen Goodine, the mother of Brad Goodine.  Brad was a regular at the library borrowing audiobooks for his mom.  We'll miss the circulation and the good company.  Brad, you can still come by and borrow a few for yourself!!
