*Not a member? No worries!
You can become a member at Preview Night.
Friends membership info
Purchases are limited to 25 books per person on Preview Night.

Calling all volunteers!!

The Friends of the Hopkinton Town Library Annual Book Sale will be held

Saturday, June 27

from 9:00 - 3:00 at the Library.

Volunteers are needed to help us get ready for this major event.  Sign-up sheets are at the circulation desk.  Any time you can give is appreciated.

Volunteers are needed:

1.  to help sort book donations ( June 16 - 25th, 2 hour shifts throughout the day and Wednesday evenings.)​​ Orientation is provided.  Volunteer sorters may take 5 free books if you work a complete 2 hour shift!​

​2.  Sale Day (June 27) 1.5 - 2 hour shifts as cashiers, assistant cashiers, floaters (helping out as needed).  Refreshments provided for all volunteers!

3.  Bag Sale (Sunday June 28 1:00 - 3:00) cashiers, clean up​

4.  Clean up (Monday June 29) 9:00 - 12:00 "restoring order to the community room"

It's Book Sale Time!
We are accepting gently (not dirty, musty or mildewed) used books for our annual Friends of the Library Book Sale!  Please - NO magazines, records, VHS/cassettes, textbooks,  encyclopedias or condensed books. Please drop off books when the library is open.  We will accept donations until June 25th. Thanks!

Be a Friend of the Library!

Now's your chance to come to the annual Friends Meeting, get a free meal, meet some great people, and have your voice heard! Join us on Wednesday April 18th at 6pm in the Community Room of the library - kindly RSVP (with Elizabeth at 746-1000 or leave a message at the Circulation Desk) to give us a food head count and tell us if you need a ride.  Hope to see you there!

New Museum Pass

Thanks to the Friends of the Library we now have a pass to The Fells in Newbury. The pass is good for admission for 2 adults and all accompanying children under the age of 18 to the Main House, gardens and grounds and includes guided tours of the house and gardens as well as admission to any on-site exhibits. Call (746-3663) or email (info@hopkintontownlibrary.org) the library to reserve a pass today!

Update on the Friends Book Sale

This year's book sale (Saturday May 30th from 9-6) promises to be the best ever. We've had lots of high quality and interesting donations, which will be arranged by subject this year. If you are interested in volunteering for the book sale (either for set up on May 29th or on the day of the sale), please contact info@hopkintontownlibrary.org or call Beth Bloomquist at 746-3647. We are still collecting donated books for the sale.
