Greetings on a not so sunny sunday. Our program today on Japanese Incarceration at Manzanar and elsewhere during WWII was excellent. We had about 36 people there. Many good questions. Wish this didn't seem like deja vu all over again....The staff worked on Saturday getting books and other materials back on the shelves and moving our books and other "stuff" back from Slusser. We'll finish up with that on Monday. At this point it looks like a Wednesday opening is a possibility. We need a couple of days (i.e. Monday and Tuesday) to regroup. I had hoped for no suspension in services, but we need some organizing time. Actually, we need A LOT of organizing time, but hope you'll bear with us. Tomorrow Servpro will be here to do the final post construction clean up and to remove our formidable collection of garbage.
By hook or by crook our Grand Re-Opening will take place next Sunday June 9th from 3-5 with music by the Tall Granite Big Band, crafts with Rachel Montroy and Friends and cake and more. Please join us if you can! THANKS!!
