Baby it's cold outside

We've been in a polar vortex, but that hasn't kept the Bergeron guys from making extraordinary progress doing finish work on the cupola and building interior.  Servpro was in to start cleaning the walls and floor and the place looks almost habitable.  Almost.  Painting is going to begin next week and we're closing in on flooring decisions.  Some new furniture items (including new "welcome" desk and display units) are being built offsite.  I had some pictures to post, but my phone isn't cooperating, so instead I'll send you a couple of pics from a walk last weekend.  The ice formations have been awesome this year.  Almost finished with the new Barbara Kingsolver "Unsheltered."  Thoroughly enjoyed it...so what's next?  Also reading Doris Kearns Goodwin's newest: "Leadership," focusing on the careers and dispositions of Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson.  Fascinating.  Inspiring.  And so sad....
