Returning books

With a goal of adding a little more normal to our lives, we have re-opened the outdoor book return slot on the main library.  Please feel free to return books that you have out there!  In addition, the book return box at Town Hall in Hopkinton is also available, but be forewarned that it has been moved to the other side of the driveway thanks to the road guys.  This will help with snow plowing.  As ever, please don't use the book returns for donations.  We have neither the space nor the need for donations at the moment, but we very much appreciate the thought.

Of course, you can continue to return books here on the lower level of the Slusser Center.  We are here Tuesday from 10-4:30, Wednesday from 10-6pm, Thursday and Friday, 10-4:30.  We are often here on Mondays as well, but sometimes use that day for meetings away from the library.

Building update:  subcontractors were here working on replacing the dry wall on the perimeter of the library, all of which had been water and smoke damaged six inches up.  The HVAC has been restored.  Tomorrow many of the key players will meet to talk about the timeline.  Onward and upward.

This Friday there will be a steel pan concert at the Community Room of the library from 6 to 7pm as part of Starry Starry Weekend.

Also, thanks to Jill Crane from Paws on Pine and a wonderful group of local artisans, there will be a
SHOPPING EXTRAVAGANZA & RAFFLE!
