Leigh Maynard and Debbie Norris (from the Friends of the Library Board) played cat and witch at yesterday's first ever "Trunk or Treat" event at George's Park, sponsored by the Rec Department. By Leigh's count over 300 people of all ages came by. Thanks to the Friends, they distributed books (not candy) to their Halloween visitors. Many other community members including the fire department, HR Clough and HYSA were represented.
Meanwhile, we are getting all manner of toys back from Servpro and the Electronics firm that is cleaning up our equipment. Like our Dymo label maker and the receipt printer. Small things make the staff happy! And Leigh will have more kid-friendly toys for story time including balls and games and all sorts of things.
