Picoult and Granny D

First, a couple of reminders.  We still have approximately 400 books out on loan from the period of the lightning strike.  While we were quite relieved that they were safely protected in your homes and automobiles, we are now ready to accept returns.  Our little Slusser library still has a bit of room to grow and our browsers are looking for variety.

Also we are still running "Words on Wheels" through which we will deliver books to people who are unable to get to the library.  If you are having a difficult time getting to our neighbor libraries or to our library before 4:30, when we usually close up shop, please let us know and we will try to get your items delivered.  In addition, we have decided to extend our open hours on Wednesday until 6pm to accommodate working people.  So, our hours are:

Tuesday:  10-4:30
Wednesday:  10-6pm
Thursday:  10-4:30
Friday:  10:4:30
And:  Catch as catch can

Also, I've mentioned that we are doing some limited book ordering, so if there's a title that is a "must have" please let me know.  For example, we now have four copies of the new Jodi Picoult book "A Spark of Light."  If you're a fan, as so many of you are, come on in for a copy!

Remember Granny D??  We are co-sponsoring  a one woman play "Granny D:  the Power of One" A one woman play by Dixie Tymitz.  This free event will be held at Hopkinton Town Hall at 2pm on Sunday October 14th with the support of "Open Democracy."  603-715-8107 for questions.
