Great news! We’ve been able to reschedule our childrens’ programs with
thanks to our kind neighbors at the Slusser Center. Since they’ll still
be running their own programs, it’s very important for us to park where
they’ve asked us to park.
Here are the programs, along with directions about parking.
Concord Community Music School Musical Instrument Petting Zoo/August 8th from 6-7 PM
This is your chance to try a variety of instruments and talk with the
musicians who play them. Stop in between 6 and 7 PM to see what they’ve
brought and chat with your friends!
PARKING-park in Slusser Center and library parking lots. Program will be held upstairs in the Slusser Center.
Finale Party/August 9th at 10:30 AM (note time change)
How many books do you think the children read this summer? Come find out
and celebrate! This is our opprortunity to thank all of you for coming
to the program and to thank the teens who did an AMAZING job getting to
know your children. Miraculously, I had just moved the raffle prizes
from a cardboard box into a sealed plastic box, so they’re unharmed.
We’ll also be drawing the winners of both Quests.
PARKING-drive around the buildings and park on the grass near the
Slusser Center or behind the buildings by the playground. Program will
be held downstairs in the Slusser Center.
Mr. Aaron Concert Celebrating 1000 Books Before Kindergarten/August 26 4 PM
Everyone loves Mr. Aaron! We will also be recognizing the children who
recently completed listening to 1000 books, before they head off to
Kindergarten. Due to our current circumstances, we will be giving them
an IOU for a book to be redeemed once we get our feet on the ground.
PARKING-park in the Slusser Center and library parking. Concert will be held upstairs in the Slusser Center.
Hooray! Story Time and Lap Time will begin September 4th, also at the Slusser Center, with just one time change.
Story Times/Tuesdays at 1 PM/Wednesdays at 10:30 AM for children 3
(ish)-5 (ish) and a caregiver. Siblings are welcome to join the fun!
PARKING-park in the library parking areas. Programs will be held upstairs in the Slusser Center.
Lap Time/Fridays at 11 AM (note time change) for children from birth to 2 1/2 (ish)/siblings welcome
Lap Time is a great opportunity to meet other families and give your
youngster early exposure to songs and stories. Got a napping child? Come
in once the program has begun and join the fun. There’s a playtime at
the end of the program!
PARKING-drive around the buildings and park on the grass near the
Slusser Center. Program will be held downstairs in the Slusser Center.
Thank you for your thoughtful emails and good wishes.
