Light up the library

 It's been great to see how all of the Contoocook businesses have adorned themselves with sparkling lights and over the top decorations!  We thought we should join the throng, however modestly!  We also have displays of holiday books, movies and music.  Falalala!

I also wanted to share an email Leigh and I received today.  (It came with a photo, which I decided not to share without permission.)  Messages like this, especially when we are acutely aware of how limited our services are right now, warm our hearts.  Thank you!  

...This is now a common occurrence in our house-- the big excitement of a curbside pick up and/or book bundle run! I feel some guilt about our frequent and large reserve list. I hope that everyone who participates in preparing them for us understands how much connection we feel to our library community each time we drive up to the doors and how much joy these stacks of books bring into our lives. My girls pour over these pages and spend hours listening and relistening to the audio books.

 Thank you for keeping new books and visits to the library a treasured part of our days this season.
