Ty Meier in the gallery

Local artist Ty Meier will be hanging a new show in the library's gallery tomorrow.  We're looking forward to it.  There will also be a slide show of the work up on our website sometime next week.  The framed pieces will be for sale as well as some notecards.  This is a great aspect of our work that we are determined to keep going even in covid times.

Today I had a zoom meeting with our Gallery Committee (thanks Ruth Chevion, Ellen Davis, Inge Eddy and Peg Kimball!)  We are planning the shows for the balance of the year, which will include a call for Pandemic Art (i.e. artwork created during the pandemic, in response to, or to escape from).  Stay tuned.  We'll be circulating the announcement in the next week or so.

Good weekend to all.  Read, bake, walk, snuggle.  And wash your hands.
