a busy week in lake woebegone

 What with a library trustee meeting and preparing the library's submission for the Town Report and reopening for "walk through" for the first time in many weeks.  Karen did a great job pulling together our "staff picks" listing.  It's on our website--check it out.  Check out a book or two while you're at it.  We are going to keep updating this so stay tuned!  We also miss Leigh who has been out with a broken shoulder since early January.  It's just not the same around here.  Nancy is pinch hitting so that we can continue with book bundles, which is a great help.  The below picture and text makes us realize that the book bundle program  for pre-K kids is definitely worth continuing!  Here is a happy Lucca having just picked up her books!  

From her Mom:  Such comments make it all seem worthwhile...Hi! I just want you both to see how happy Lu is every time we get our new library books. We can’t even get home before she starts pouring through them. Thank you both - and everyone at the library - for all you’re doing to keep the kids engaged and learning during these tumultuous times!
