Covid Charge

Always have a Plan B.  This is probably good counsel even when not dealing with a pandemic.  It was certainly the case this weekend, when gardening was on the agenda and we were greeted Saturday morning with snow and hail.  So instead of working in the dirt on Saturday, scones, oatmeal raisin cookies and pizza were on the baking agenda.

And some thoroughly wonderful yoga online "with Adriene" via youtube.  I wasn't convinced, but was urged to try it out by my daughter.  I am a convert.  The range of her practices is impressive--something for everyone, some blissfullness tonight!  Yoga for lower back pain, neck pain, anger, hand pain, anxiety, shoulder pain, you name it, or just for the sake of it ranging from ten minute sessions to one hour or more...

On Sunday, though chilly, gardening was a possibility finally.  Could only put in a couple of hours, but it was a thoroughly delightful way to spend Mother's Day.

Garden menaces for Forty, Alec?
This common ground cover often invades garden plots to the chagrin of gardeners.

And finally, we're closer to putting out the list of titles to be available through MainStreet Bookends in Warner.  It should happen on Wednesday or Thursday.  Stay tuned...
