Tuesday

 The whole building project continues to be an enormous puzzle.  If one thing falls out of place, other project components tumble down like dominoes.  This morning, I learned that the extra shelving that was supposed to be delivered this week won't be in until May 15th, which totally throws off the company  that is doing the re-shelving for us.  And on and on. We will make it work, of course, but the ride is bumpy.

The morning news was sweetened by Carol and Brad Goodine, who have taken it upon themselves to deliver Carol's (amazing) confections to folks in need around town.  We are sometimes the lucky recipients.  This morning it was Boston Cream Pie.  This is not a plea for more treats.  Really.  It is more recognition of Carol and Brad (and so many others of you) who have brightened up our days in so many ways.  The pool table serves as a nice buffet as well...



More sweetness was added to the day with the visit of Toto the Tornado Cat who came to storytime today with his human EMT Jonathan Hall.  Oh dear, the next thing you know I'll be sharing cat videos.....
