In honor of National Poetry Month and the unveiling of the Maxine Kumin book collection donated to the library by the family of Maxine Kumin, Susannah Colt, former personal assistant to Maxine and current Caretaker of Pobiz Farm, will share a multi-media presentation documenting the creation of the farm pond, which was the epicenter of the family’s “up-country haven.” She will also share the vast collection of “kiddielit” (23 books) that Maxine wrote over the course of her career.
The program will be suitable for all ages of poetry lovers.
