Nature Photography program this Sunday with Bob Lapree

The Joy of Nature Photography
with
Bob Lapree
Sunday June 8th 1-4pm
Join local photojournalist Bob LaPree for an afternoon workshop designed to give participants an appreciation of the skills that will help make their photos more successful and enjoyable to create. Bob will present a slide show of some of his favorite and instructive nature photos made over his 40+ year career and explain many of the techniques used to make them. The next hour of the workshop will be devoted to making pictures around the library grounds and on a guided photo walk for wild flowers on the nearby Houston trail and the Stevens Rail Trail. So be sure to bring your camera and comfortable shoes.  After the outing Bob will show how photo editing software works to bring out the best in the photo. Pictures made by participants can be worked on to demonstrate the techniques. The workshop will last about 3 hours and should give attendees an experience that can enhance their photo capabilities and enjoyment of the art.
