Story Walk™ - Pete the Cat



The story of Pete the Cat (by Eric Litwin) is currently set up on the path behind the playground (behind the Hopkinton Town Library). You and your family can walk along, read the story, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!





Harper Collins Publishers has granted permission for this Story Walk.™

The Story Walk™ Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.

Balloon Glow postponed until Thursday

The Balloon Glow is postponed due to iffy weather this evening. Tomorrow is supposed to be great weather - so see you same time, same place on Thursday July 14th at 7:30pm!!!

Still time to do the Nature Quest!

The 4th annual Quest, Nature Quest, will wrap up this Friday July 15th. Please bring your pictures to the library by that day! More information can be found on our website. No sign up required.

SRP - Wildlife Walk at Elm Brook Park

If your family is signed up for tomorrow's (July 13) Wildlife Walk at Elm Brook Park, we will be meeting at 12:45 at the ranger station. When entering the park, let the attendant know that you're there for the Hopkinton Town Library program. There will be no fee. If you decide to remain in the park after the program, you will be required to pay the fee.

Balloon Glow tomorrow evening!

Balloon Glow 2010
Join us for our 3rd annual Hot Air Balloon Glow this Wednesday 7/13 at 7:30pm on the lawn in front of the library. There will be a tethered balloon that will glow as it gets dark outside and another balloon on the ground for kids to run around inside. Music provided by the Strawberry Jam Band.  Bring a picnic and enjoy the spectacle!  Thanks to Ben Cochran for bringing his balloon again this year.  For all ages! No signup required.
