Movies canceled for tonight

Back to the Future movie showing is canceled for tonight, as well as The Last Waltz at the Slusser Senior Center. Rescheduled to Friday February Feb. 18th.

2 movies coming up!

Come Back to the Future with us on Friday night Jan. 21st at 6:30pm.  Free popcorn and retro candy!  This movie will be shown in conjunction with the Recreation Department's showing of The Last Waltz at the Senior Center as part of our Community Movie Series. (We'll be doing this again in February and March so stay tuned).
Then on Sunday Jan. 23rd at 4pm we'll be showing the movie Fresh, cosponsored by Greener Hopkinton.  Fresh is a documentary about the production and availability of locally and sustainably grown food.  A panel discussion about NH's local food supply will follow.  Panelists will include Tim Bassett, owner of Gould Hill Farm, dairy operator Jamie Robertson of Bohanan Farm, and Jim Ramanek, master gardener of Warner River Organics in Webster.
Both movies are free and open to the public and will be held in the Library's Community Room.  Join us!

Library closing at 1pm Tuesday

The weather forecast is looking bad and the town offices are closing at 1 pm so we will be closing at 1 as well.  So no story time this afternoon :( 
We will open tomorrow at 10 am unless you hear otherwise :)
Also, any meetings scheduled for this afternoon or evening at the library will have to make other arrangements if they have not canceled.  Please check with someone in your group.

Chicks with Sticks!

Chicks with Sticks is a knitting group that meets at the library every Tuesday evening from 5:30 - 8:00 pm.  Bring your project for some practical advice or just to chat.  All abilities welcome!

Great stuff at the library!

The new year brings a return of Leigh's story times and baby lap times.  Story times (ages 3-5) are every Tuesday at 1pm and Wednesdays at 10:30am.  Baby lap time (ages 2 and under) is every Friday at 11am.  Join our incomparable Leigh for stories, songs and crafts in the story time room.
