Library Closed on Memorial Day Weekend

The library will be closed from Saturday through Monday May 29-31.  Sunday openings will resume in the fall.

Our Little Secret

Local authors Kevin Flynn and Rebecca Lavoie will be here on June 3rd at 7pm to discuss their new true-crime book Our Little Secret about the murder of Daniel Paquette that went unsolved for 20 years until 2005.  This event will be held in the Library's Community Room and is free and open to the public.

Attention Bicyclists and Travel Lovers!

Tired of riding in circles, Carl Cooley decided one day to ride somewhere in a straight line.  The more he thought about it, the longer the line became...until it stretched all the way across the country. Come hear about his journey and his process of preparing for and journaling his trip.

Birding Presentation and Guided Bird Walk

Celebrate International Migratory Bird Day and learn to bird!  On Thursday, May 6th from 6:30-8pm we'll have a Birding Presentation in the Library's Community Room.  On Saturday May 15th from 8-10am join us for a Guided Bird Walk behind the library.  Both programs are for ages 12 and up.  Registration is limited to 15.  Please call 746-3663 or email info@hopkintontownlibrary.org to register.  Meet at the library for the presentation and the bird walk.  Note: binoculars and field guides will be available to share, but please bring your own if you have them.  You will need them for Thursday and Saturday.
