Making Sense Out of Autism Spectrum Disorders

On Sunday January 31st join us for Making Sense Out of Autism Spectrum Disorders - A Developmentalist's Perspective with Dr. Carl Cooley, a developmental pediatrician and adjunct professor of pediatrics at Dartmouth Medical School. Dr. Cooley was formerly the Director of the Center for Genetics and Child Development at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. He is the chief medical officer of the Crotched Mountain Foundation in Greenfield, NH where he is also medical director of the Center for Medical Home Improvement. This informal community seminar will provide an introductory overview of the autism spectrum disorders. Unresolved mysteries related to the causes of autism and the apparent increase in prevalence in the past 20 years will be discussed. Join us at 3pm on Sunday January 31st in the Library's Community Room.
