Tell us what you think of us!!

During National Library Week (April 12th-19th) we are inviting all library visitors to fill out a survey about their experiences using the library. As part of that process, we are also collecting email addresses in an effort to communicate in a more timely fashion and to save on postage. We plan to use email for overdue notices and to announce programs and other items of interest. If you think we do not have your email address, please send it to us at info@hopkintontownlibrary.org.

New Exhibits at the Library

Lovely paintings of local scenes by Warner artist Jeremy Guitar are in our gallery. And in our display case we have treasures from the Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum in conjunction with the PBS series We Shall Remain. In celebration of spring we are featuring our collection of books on gardening. Come check them out!!

Friends of the Library Book Sale News

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF GENTLY USED BOOKS for the Friends’ Annual Sale. This year’s book sale will be on May 30th from 9-6. If you are interested in volunteering for the book sale, please contact info@hopkintontownlibrary.org.

Community Bulletin Board

We have added a community bulletin board outside of our Community Room. This is a trial run to see if Hopkinton residents would like to have another place to display notices about programs, items or services for sale or programs of interest. The bulletin board currently by the circulation desk is for notices about town and nonprofit events only. The new display space by the Community Room will have a broader purpose. Please come and post your notices with the posting date included. There will also be a table available for multiple copies of items to take away.

Collecting Pencils for Brownie Troop

The Library is a collection point for Brownie Troop 10071, which is doing a service project with the Pencil Project, a volunteer group that helps distribute pencils to schoolchildren in impoverished areas around the world. Bring your new or gently used pencils to the library and they will make a difference to kids for whom even the most basic supplies are a luxury.
